Ok, so this post is a day late…I blame the winter’s blahs.
It was an interesting day at work; my main concern was to get the brochure finalized. I have to say that the finished product looked pretty darn good!
I’ve been trying to get the members of the strata council together for a post Xmas get together, but that is proving more difficult than I had thought. So I just emailed everyone saying that I will be at Whineo’s at 7pm and if you can make it great, if you can’t, that’s too bad.
Well, Dan and his wife Daylon came. Daylon was the one who helped me and sold me my apartment, and this was the first time I’ve seen her since then, so it was great. Roeina and Sarah came by after ballet and the five of us had a great time chatting about real estate and food and restaurants.
Before Dan and Daylon came by, I found out something that really shook me about some people at work. Really, what is the world coming to? What this person did was completely beyond my realm of comprehension and my moral ethics and to put it bluntly, despicable. What ever little respect I had for this person is now gone forever. I am never going be able to see this person in a good light again. It is definitely getting harder and harder to meet “good” people in this world. Be sure to appreciate the good people in your life.
