Ok, it’s late and I have an early train to catch, but I managed to upload lots more photos! More to come and that elusive blog…

It’s my birthday and I’m turning 28 in Greece!
So it’s my birthday today (in case you didn’t know or you forgot) and I’m turning 28 in Greece. How cool is that??? The trip is going fantastic and I really really like Greece, especially the islands.
Hopefully will get pics uploaded soon, and yes, I am still working on that blog. 😛
Hope everyone is great! =)
Mobile, cell, whatever you call it
Just to let you know that I have been using my Canadian number for the last three weeks cause my NZ number didn’t work in Singapore or Egypt. It’s also not working here in Athens, so call or text my Canadian number if you feel like you want to reach me. I’ll probably get a Greek SIM card, but I haven’t decided yet. If I do. I’ll post the number on here. 🙂
In Athens
Hi Everyone,
I’ve arrived in Athens today and boy am I glad to leave Egypt and have some free time to myself. So, since I have five days before my tour starts, and it’s Easter weekend so everything’s closed, and I get free WI-FI at the hostel I’m staying at, I’ll be working madly on uploading my photos and getting some blog updates going here.
Thanks for being patient!
Lots of love! =)
Going to Egypt
Hi everyone,
Just a note to say that I’m leaving for Cairo tonight for a tour for two weeks, so I may not have easy access to Internet. Do email me or post any comments.
I will add to my blog as I slowly get the last two months down on paper or in this case, on computer. 🙂
Pyramids, here I come! =)
Quote of the Day
I found the following quote today and I thought it describes my trip this year perfectly…
"For my part, I travel not to go anywhere, but to go. I travel for travel’s sake. The great affair is to move."
Robert Louis Stevenson
When I read the quote, I felt a connection to what Robert Louis Stevenson was saying. It’s not the destination that matters so much, it’s the journey that you take to get there. Sometimes the journey is more fun and interesting than the destination itself. Kinda like life if you think about it. We go through life not to get to the destination (since we don’t really know what the destination is, be it death, hell, heaven, reincarnation, etc, etc) but life is simply a journey, whether it continues infinitely or it takes you into the unknown. That’s why I firmly believe that you should enjoy each day and live your life the way you want to live, by your own rules and beliefs.
Carpe diem everyone! =)
Kiwi Experience
Hi everyone!
While looking at the pictures I’ve uploaded, I realized that you probably have no clue what the Kiwi Experience is, so here are some information:
Kiwi Experience is a hop-on, hop-off bus trip/tour of New Zealand that was the best thing I could have stumbled onto for my tour of New Zealand. Check out their website for more info: http://www.kiwiexperience.com
The pass I got was the Joint Mullets http://www.kiwiexperience.com/joint-mullets-bus-pass.aspx with came with free Awesome (I bought the Top Bit as well) http://www.kiwiexperience.com/new-zealand-backpacking/awesome-top-bit.aspx plus free Milford Explorer http://www.kiwiexperience.com/milford-sound-bus-pass.aspx. I also purchased the Bottom Bus http://www.kiwiexperience.com/Default.aspx?DN=0b38fa4b-acf6-4db5-8b7a-4482b42bf6d1 which I postphoned until December.
So my pics from New Zealand will have the the date, the day and the Kiwi Experience description, so you can check out the map and follow my journey from the North Island down to the South Island.
Until the next entry, ciao for now! =)
Update and New Travel Site
Hey everyone!
I finally uploaded some pics from my trip, but I found out that there is a monthly limit to the number of pics allowed to be uploaded, so that is all I can upload until next month. 🙁
In the meantime, check out this site: http://www.getjealous.com/yingying It has a map of the world so you can see where I’ve been and where I am now. Pretty cool huh?
The blog is still in progress, but sometimes, photos are worth a thousand words so I figured it’ll be better to get the pics uploaded first with captions, then worry about the blog after. So while I wait for my limit to get reset, I’ll work on my blog. If you are really impatient, check out what I am doing for the Vancouver Club at: www.vancouverclub.ca and the mini blog at: http://forum.vancouverclub.ca/
So enjoy, and check back often to see where I am and if I added anything new.

NZ mobile number
Hi everyone,
I’ve arrived in Melbourne this morning and even though it’s only a 4 hour flight from Christchurch, I’m fighting jet lag. I blame it on lack of sleep and the awful 6pm flight time.
Just to let you all know, my main goal this week in Melbourne is to post a blog of my adventures in New Zealand and Fiji over the last 5 weeks, so be prepared for a mega posting, with lots and lots of photos. 🙂
Also, if anyone cared to call me, I have a NZ mobile number: +64 21 0247 9017. I haven’t quite figure out how to dial my own number, but I figured, if that number doesn’t work, then try +64 21 247 9017. 🙂
Hope everyone is doing well, and I hope to talk to you soon. 🙂
Lots of love and hugs and kisses…

New Zealand – Day 13
Hey eveyone,
Don’t worry, I’m ok and everything is great. I have not gotten lost or fell off a cliff or forgotten to write any entries, it’s more the fact that I have not had any good (free) Internet access for a reasonable length of time. I have however met tons of cool people and done even more cool things (like skydiving!). I leave for Fiji tomorrow for a week so everyone, just think, I’ll be lying on white sandy beach with gorgeous blue ocean at my feet. Feel free to be jealous and hate me. 🙂
Thank you to all of you who posted, I love hearing from you so post more! I will have some free time once I get to Wellington on Feb 17 so I will be sure to post a VERY long entry (or multiple entries) about the 3 weeks I’ve been in New Zealand.
In the meantime, sending out positive thoughts to everyone. Lots of love! 🙂
